“The County Lodge presents generously sized rooms, some offering a welcome privacy away from the main building, and many appreciate the genuinely soft, comfortable beds. While the bar and restaurant were sometimes closed, the readily available parking and quiet surroundings, coupled with proximity to local pubs, make it a convenient base. I found the staff exceptionally helpful, even when preparing meals without a chef, contributing to a positive stay.”
